CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation policies are put in place to help protect our clinic’s appointments. We are aware that our clients’ schedules can be subject to change, immediate and emergencies happen with little to no notice.
Furthermore, when you schedule an appointment, multiple resources of ours are reserved to ensure we are ready for you to experience an exceptional appointment. This includes, products, time and staff. Once your reservation is scheduled, those resources are then unavailable to other clients.
Cancellation and Rescheduled Appointments
At Dermabar™, we understand life's unexpected twists and turns. That's why our 24-hour cancellation and deferral policy ensures flexibility for our clients. Need to reschedule? Just give us a heads-up 24 hours in advance, and we'll gladly defer your deposit for a future visit. While refunds aren't available for cancellations or premature bookings, rest assured, we're here to cater to your needs during regular business hours. Reach out to us via email, text, direct messages on social media, or phone calls. Remember, prior to booking, refunds on services and/or products aren't offered. Your satisfaction remains our top priority!
Every appointment scheduled at Derma Bar Inc. requires a deposit. No deposit, no appointment. Your deposit is held, to secure your reservation. Deposits with our Doctor’s for our injectables and medical procedures require a minimum of $100.00 HST/CAD. Depending on procedure, the deposit is subject to change. For facial, laser and body treatments, a $100.00 HST/CAD deposit is required as well. Deposits can be sent via e-transfer to our business email: info@dermabar.ca or credit card via phone. If credit card is taken via phone, proof of ID will be required.
Arriving Late
Here at Derma Bar Inc., we arrange our appointments to make sure we have an adequate amount of time for proper sanitation and sterilization protocols, setting up and a 10-minute grace period for clients. We ask for you to arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment or consultation to allow you to complete your consent forms.
If a client is more than 10 minutes late, we will always try our best to accommodate. However, it is not guaranteed we will be able to accommodate.
No Shows
No shows are not tolerated at Derma Bar Inc. Failing to “No Show” for your appointment, will result in losing your deposit. If you would like to proceed with a secondary booking, the full totality is required. If your second appointment is missed, the full payment will be non-refundable.
Gift Certificate & Card Policy
Gift cards are non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
TREATMENT EXPECTATIONS
Here at Derma Bar Inc. our main goal is to prioritize our clients by providing them with the upmost driven results. It is our duty to provide you with the highest standard of quality in choosing treatments that are best suited for your concerns. We are nothing less than honest when dealing with our clientele. However, in the aesthetic industry there is no guaranteed results. Results vary between individuals. There are many factors that have a significant impact on results. Lifestyle, skincare regime post treatment, certain medications are to name a few. Therefore, we do not issue refunds or exchanges for packages, services or treatments that were purchased and completed. Clients are responsible to maintain and upkeep treatments to yield superior results. There is no “one treatment fix.”
Treatment Packages
Many of our services are offered in single sessions or packages. This allows the clients to purchase more sessions at a cheaper rate, or try their desired service. When purchasing a treatment package, it is important to note the following.
- The treatment package is strictly yours, and cannot be shared with anyone. This is to ensure you are maintaining your sessions to yield the most superior results.
- Your treatment package does have an expiry. With every service package your purchase, it has a one-year expiry on it. Ex. If your Microneedling package was bought January, 2022. All sessions must be complete before January, 2023.
- Treatment packages are not refundable or deferable. You cannot obtain “credit” with the remaining of your treatment package.
Sales & Promotions
Who does not love a sale? We all do! Here at Derma Bar Inc., we often times run promotions for special holidays, events or just for the fun of it. These sales, promotions or giveaway rules will vary. Sales and promotions cannot be combined, and the client will receive the greater discount. Please note, if a deadline has been placed on a promotion, sale or giveaway, the deadline is strictly adhered to.
Personal Belongings
We ask for preventative measure’s with COVID19, that you limit the number of items being brought to your appointment. Groceries, leisure shopping etc. will not be prohibited when entering the clinic. All personal belongings are the client’s responsibility, and should be kept in your possession at all times. The Derma Bar Inc. is not responsible for lost, stolen of damaged goods/items.
Inclement Weather Policy
An inclement weather policy lays down the procedures Derma Bar Inc. follows if needs be to close in case of bad weather or natural disaster. The Inclement Weather Policy will take effect if there are official government recommendations, such as school closures, school bus cancellations, TTC and Go train services etc. It is your responsibility when scheduling your appointment to make sure you are scheduling on a convenient day with adequate transportation. We ask you to kindly prepare.
Conflict & Aggressive Behaviour
Aggressive behaviour and any form of verbal or physical abuse to our staff members and treating practitioners will not be tolerated. Our team works as hard as they can to provide you with the highest standards of customer service. It is important for all members of the public and our staff to be treated with courtesy and respect. We thank you for understanding.
COVID-19/OMICRON/DELTA VARIANT
UPDATED PROTOCOLS
Here at Derma Bar Inc., we take the spread of COVID19 very seriously. We have taken additional precautions and measures to eliminate the transmission of the COVID19 virus. Derma Bar Inc, carefully designed and rigorously enforces safety precautions.
Your safety is our top priority.
When you visit, you will notice:
- There are two doors before entering. The door will have a checklist the client is to review before entering. This includes any travelling outside the country for the last 14 days, if they have come in contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID19, and etc.
- A mandatory mask policy for all patients, deliveries and staff members.
- Slip covers for shoes
- You will be asked to head straight to the washroom to wash your hands and sanitize. Our hand sanitizer contains 70% ethyl alcohol, as per Health Canada requirements
- Social distancing and education signage about COVID19
- Contactless payments. Payments can also be completed online prior to appointment.
- Strict number of guests. We are an appointment only clinic
- Screening of all patients for symptoms and possible COVID19 exposure before entering.
- Waiting area arranged for social distancing
- Debit/credit machine and all surfaces are wiped down with a high-level disinfectant wipe. Cavi or Pre-empt wipes.

With new protocols and measures up to date, The Derma Bar staff will help guide you through all processes. Together, we can feel confident in providing you with expectational service with our extra steps to protect your well-being. Our staff will remain masked the entire procedure, and any additional appropriate PPE.

& Cancellation Policy
All domestic and international shipping will be via Canada Post or Purolator. An email confirmation and tracking number will be provided to you via email or direct form of communication immediately post purchase. The Derma Bar Inc. is not responsible for any additional custom charges or fees once your package has left our facility. Custom charges and fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide an accurate address and contact information. If failing to do so, and package is returned, Derma Bar Inc is not responsible for any additional charges. If your order was refused/missed or returned to sender, Derma Bar Inc is not responsible.
